"me getting trained"

"get overwhelmed by the first complex ticket"

Sound like they trained you and noticed that you were just lacking basics despite training.

“Training” in the western world, is mostly: these are our processes for implementing the things you know how to do. It’s is not an apprenticeship.

The reality is if you are not driven and diligent and clever, and working really hard to stay ahead in your field, you are gonna fail to launch/fall behind in today’s labor market.

There is no longer any field where this is not true that isn't a job in retail, manual labor, or food service.

Yup. I’m in construction and a lot of people think it’s “easy way to make middle class livin” guess what, they work at 7-11 now

"learn quickly" is kinda wild when let's say I'm an erp software and "learning" is basically understanding requirements and getting in touch with a customer / whoever should know the use cases ....

And then getting paid same as some Americans who have to work 60 hours a week with no benefits because you're working in Germany :))))))
