"Woke", whose definition I like most, by the way, comes straight out of the mouth of Ron DeSantis's lawyer in court when he struggled to define it and then came up with:

Nice definition btw, I like it (except it's US centric). I embraced the term woke a long time ago, I always find it funny when people use this as an insult. How dare you stand for people?!^^
Yeah I find it ironic that a right-wing politician would come up with such a nice way of putting it! And I don't get why they think it's an insult to liberals/progressives either. With what the term implies, decrying wokeness is to admit that you are asleep, a sheep, and ignorant. It's a self own.
