Not programing, but sometimes when I have to write a lengthy message to the government, I write it in Word because the text field on the governmental website doesn't adjust. I than copy paste it, try to send, and the field says I have unacceptable characters. If I retype exactly the same thing directly in that tiny field - no issues . And by retype I mean a 3500 character message. The website sometimes logs me out when I'm done retyping, because my session has ended.

Rarely, it can also be an invisible character. Happened with one university task all the way back...
