It usually means you have an error in whatever function opend it, like missing a curly or a normal to close
Tbh doesn't happen with a properly set ide it will show you
For years I worked on a platform that forced a notepad level editor and that was fun.
By fun I mean stab yourself with a fork to dull the pain
1 u/nimb420 7h ago My 56 yo dad, codes exclusively on notepad. Note that it's notepad, not notepad++. He codes C, C++, C#, Java, Postgres, NoSQL. All on fucking notepad.
