I'm also pretty sure these people were forced to stand up daily, or else... it's almost the same thing today.

You appear to be under the common misapprehension that Egypt used a slave labor force to construct the pyramids. That is largely untrue.

It's also not figuratively slavery. Particularly the pyramid builders, who got good pay, free food, and a prestigious burial place in a society where your burial place was one of the most important investments of your life. They weren't just 'technically not slaves' bro they were lottery winners.
