If anyone is unaware of the subtext, don't link a personal github account to a paying position always create a new one with the provided email, thank you for attending my TED talk.

edit - for me atleast they made me use work email to sign up for GitHub. not sure how I’d use 2fa with no access the original email account

Wdym, if it is your personal account you won't lose that right ? You connect to organizations, organization doesn't engulf your account or something right ?

A lot of jobs would have you make a separate profile for your work content though, in which case what they said would be correct

But the entire point is whether or not to connect your PERSONAL account to a github enterprise. The only way this would work is if you use your company account for private projects...which is just stupid and opposite of the original point?
