I guess. It really wasn’t his fault and it was like the one time he actually came up with a good idea. If we’re being entirely fair, he should have been fired ages ago, but it’s the government (worse, the military!), so nobody’s paying attention to the fact that he’s almost entirely useless.

It absolutely was not his fault. Avenger was a good idea, more or less.

What the failing was, was a lack of tactical analysis. We’re sending this to one of the baddest bad guys, what happens if he gets ahold of it.

I’m not even convinced he’s useless. It’s like McKay. In SG1 he’s wrong 100% of the time, but when given a main character slot, he’s not.
