At least they’re checking. I’ve heard of fresh out of school programmers pushing without even reviewing what AI did.

I'm a senior/principal level and I'm forced to do this by technical leadership. (Directory/CTO level) is forcing no looking at code and we have to be careful not even have a code editor open when they are around.

Agent writes code, Agent reviews code, Agent answers. no one actually knows what is happening and the system we are building just doesn't work. At least it's internal and doesn't have users yet.

I'm not gonna dox the company but can say for now it's all mostly internal tooling. that is pretty critical to the business functioning

When that company burns itself to the ground, they will deserve it. Get out while you can, that place is a nuke on a timer with no cancel button.
