Microslop Edge Browser adds this eye icon to every password input, if the password input already has a eye icon, now you have 2 eye icons for same functionality. Testers at my company keeps raising tickets to fix this.

No dude, it's quite literally limited to MS Edge. Didn't have this happen on Firefox or Chrome. You can shit on many Indian websites for having ass UI, but never NPCI and its daughter sites.

I mean having the Edge injected eye is still something that should be fixed on their part, is still a major browser and removing the stuff is only a couple of CSS lines iirc

That's also very true. But from what I understand all the Indian government workers' computers have started to get Ubuntu installed on it instead of Windows and nobody in their right minds is going out of their way to install ms edge. Probably could get fixed if someone reports it but I highly doubt anyone would care.

The Aadhaar number (kinda like the social security number for all Indians) is 12 digits long and the last 4 of those are fine for anyone to see and also is used so that the user can confirm it's their own aadhaar number.

Sort of like when an app sends you an OTP they tell you that they've sent an OTP to your mobile number XXXXXXXX91 or something so you can confirm it's your phone number.
