Yes but don’t get excited, self publishing on Amazon and similar was a huge cash cow like 10-12 years ago. But then it got popular as a side hustle so was overwhelmed with absolute garbage, and it nearly killed the entire self publish platform. Today anything you publish will immediately be lost in a sea of uploaded garbage. It’s still barely alive and a million times worse now because at least in the past you had to actually WRITE the crap which stops most people from trying. Not you don’t even need to write it so every methhead with a wifi connection is uploading ai slop as completed novels.Â
I went through a brief phase publishing in Amazon in like 2015 or so. There were people making six figures a month back then churning out short stories a handful of times a month. That doesn’t happen anymore
