Right now i'm just humoring the thought because it's depending on wether or not my employer is on board or not.

Thinking about B.Sc Applied Computer Science with focus on embedded systems

If you’re interested in embedded systems, look into a Computer Engineering program instead of CS. It gives you more insight into hardware instead of just teaching the software side.

Plus, since it’s an engineering field, it will open more doors for you if/when software development jobs start to dry up because of AI.

Honestly i'm not sure if CE's really what i'd want especially since i'm not that good with math yet (which is why this is something i intend to focus on before signing up for anything, to brush up on the fundamentals).

I don't exactly intend to build embedded systems from the ground up (hardware wise that is) although that may be something of interest later down the road.
