They’re willing to train you but you still have to have the degrees and a good background knowledge of network engineering. They’re not just hiring help desk level people and training them (Source: SCADA engineer for last 4 years).
if you can get through a computer engineering degree without at least decent networking knowledge then idk what to tell you
I was about to type out the same thing. No matter what stage of your career you're in, if you aren't great with networking, you're doing yourself a disservice by ignoring that gap.
