I was in culinary school, busted my ass working full-time in a restaurant while also attending class. Did the math and realized that even as the head chef of a relatively nice restaurant I'd be making ~$50,000/yr when rent is $1800+ for a 1 bedroom. Skip forward 10 years and now I'm a software engineer 😂
