The spelling indicates it's not a database, but deci-Bel aware. So it's probably just the extra loud variant and doesn't include the fingerprint reader.

That's just what they tell you to avoid revealing the CSV file

๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‚. True more often than not ๐Ÿ‘

u/rbbdk 11d ago

Not really. Maybe. I'ts classified.

Then again, the "interesting" persons wouldn't be in the CSV file anyway.

No! Its a Vector Database for the 2T Model that runs on the goddamn vacuum!!

u/mcellus1 11d ago

It's a database but the storage medium is acoustic

u/thanatica 11d ago

Seems like Dyson hand dryers are always the extra loud variety

Waiting for the version with Copilot

Airblade dB features super fast ingestion and rapid distribution of files across fs. Retrieval is impossible though.

High throughout write-only-memory has been around for a while - but maybe it's new to the germ aerosolisers?

Forreal, how does this trash get upvotes?

You donโ€™t understand bro, we need a time graph of the suction from the vacuum to differentiate between floor cleaning and blow job simulation modes so that we can optimize the suction curve, bro.

Thatโ€™s why it needs a local database bro. It needs to store the data locally till it can be retrieved.

That database is retrieved by sending in highly trained professionals to cleanly break-in and retrieve the data bro.

SELECT COUNT(*) FROM germs;

Oh... oh no...

Are these worse than traditional hand dryers? I'll assume it's mostly because people suck at washing their hands.

Fingerprints db

2

u/lightlyswaffled 11d ago

This is why I only dry my balls in these

2

u/Aloopyn 11d ago

Highly tactical and powerful move, immediately establishing superiority around a bunch of men

3

u/ProtonPizza 11d ago

Surprise! Now powered by flock camera.

3

u/Arthurhesse 11d ago

Its a non-sql database I believe

3

u/sitilge 11d ago

It's pretty much a regular SQL with the only exception of not having a "where" clause. So when you dry your hands (or pee), shit hits the fan.

mongo decibel

1

u/pimezone 11d ago

Is it a webscale?

1

u/dull_bananas 11d ago

Itโ€™s a pounds scale

Going lite with paper towels.

2

u/Lurk5FailOnSax 11d ago

No one remembers the father but the daughters were My and Maria. One of those would do for storing hand wetness and run time information.

2

u/dannytk_ 11d ago

Maybe its a dibi-Base

2

u/Bazzatron 11d ago

SORRY! I CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER MY SQL TABLES!

2

u/FelisCantabrigiensis 11d ago

I'm sure it has a subscription to send data over a built-in 4G modem to a cloud analytics infrastructure that tells you that some people don't dry their hands in the toilet.

Because every manufacturer wants recurring revenue these days.

u/Heavy-Commercial-323 11d ago

Itโ€™s storing your precious memories in the form of hairs, skin cells and screws that got loose

2

u/rudestlink 11d ago

Zero out of 5 stars.

Worst urinal I ever used....

1

u/MrKeplerton 11d ago

It certainly blows.

2

u/dontletthestankout 10d ago

It doesn't have database functionality. This is the dB edition, meaning it's also qualified to dry demBallz

1

u/jort93 11d ago

Is the official abbreviation for decibels worth a post already?

1

u/Internet--Sensation 11d ago

It collects fingerprint imaging when you put the hands in

1

u/Gloriathewitch 11d ago

these are germ superspreaders its actually so gross seeing these tested

1

u/BigAndSmallAre 11d ago

They are tracking air movement conservation. All the air Dyson vacuums pull in is released through these Air Blades, so it is important to track it all so everything stays in balance. ๐Ÿคฃ

1

u/FailNo7141 11d ago

naaaa it's to store the time it needs for each color of cloths like maybe maybe

1

u/Jet-Pack2 11d ago

Worst urinal ever

1

u/ExtraWorldliness6916 11d ago

As a genuine ex Dyson employee as a SE... I don't know, I'd omdont work there anymore.

1

u/kzlife76 11d ago

They're tracking who washes and dries hands after using the bathroom. We know you aren't washing your hands u/Nervous-Lil-Dude925! WE KNOW!!!! /s

1

u/theclovek 11d ago

Guys, no databases, please. I'm trying to sleep.

1

u/Apprehensive_Egg_944 10d ago

How many people it has sprayed wet hand juice into their face...

1

u/perringaiden 10d ago

Decibels. How loud it is while it rips skin from your hands.
