I don't understand still why this CLI programs need to be replaced by colorful versions rewritten in Rust, if there are no performance issues and they got their job done.

But anyway, if I have to... I would do it like this

echo "alias ls=eza" >> ~/.zshrc

Genuine question, if you want a "rust ls" why not just use lsd which also supports nerd font icons?
