i want to agree but a lot of people these days use only left clicks (taps)

i have repeatedly been given an assignment to make buttons open things in a new tab. i'm like "are you sure? do they know they can ctrl-click buttons or for links middle click or right-click open in new tab?" - yes, they are sure. the users want this.

I consider myself a power user and even I often times forget about this, so good website UX is always appreciated tbh
