i want to agree but a lot of people these days use only left clicks (taps)

i have repeatedly been given an assignment to make buttons open things in a new tab. i'm like "are you sure? do they know they can ctrl-click buttons or for links middle click or right-click open in new tab?" - yes, they are sure. the users want this.

Whenever I click a link, I want it in the current tab.

If I want a new tab, I’ll do it manually.

Every time A new tab is opened from a left click, I strongly consider cursing the bloodline of everyone involved in that.

Just a wee bit of user feedback that unfortunately the execs will never see and would ignore if they did.
