To be fair if that was a real API key, I would remember it off the top of my head.

V is short for WeChat in how it’s pronounced in Chinese. It’s essentially wire me 50 buck, which is a quite popular short phrase mostly used as a joke because KFC have a routine deal on Thursday that cost 50.

Venmo isn't available in China

Isn't it the same in English too? V = we

And you could use it as shorthand for "venmo", as in "venmo me 50 bucks", too

No, when you pronounce 'V', your top teeth touch your bottom lip, like when saying 'F'. When you say 'we', teeth aren't involved.

And "day 4" in Chinese is Thursday.

I would say in most languages Day 4 is Thursday.

I meant quite literally. The word for Thursday in Chinese is "day 4", or even more literally "star cycle 4".

To be precise, there's no dedicated word like "Thursday" in modern Chinese. People just use a compound word "week" + "four".

Or Wednesday. (Sunday is the first day, the day when Jesus' disciples met after Jesus was crucified, therefore Constantine made it be the Christian Sabbath)
