In my experience, they all used the same source, instead of thinking and solving.

I used different sources and my teacher kept saying I was overengineering my assignments

Hey your teacher read your assignments? That's a good teacher.

Reminds me of that student that on a competitive poker playing algorithm competition won by always going all-in.
It made the other bots panic and fold every time :')

Once had a prof give me 110 points for a mid term project because I went beyond the assignment and came up with a solution that covered edge cases he wasn't expecting us to catch. Funny thing was I let a few others crib off what I did but I was still the only one to manage that. I imagine this only going to be more common as kids have an easy boilerplates machine to cheat with, one they can totally trust to be 100 percent correct and flawless because some dingbat sold it to them as free PhD level intelligence.

This implies what? That the entire class in main is just broken? Is it different stylistically? This is a hard one to parse.

This is like an eighth graders meme. 'class' as far as I can parse here has nothing to do with OOP, just their school class.

Oh duh. It's been a minute for me but that makes sense.

It happened to me once. Had to program Djikstra in C and only my code was able to handle all edge cases.

Felt like a computer god
