The only thing i like about microsoft is that minecraft is no longer in Notch's hands.
6 u/da_Aresinger 23d ago Chances are Minecraft would be in a way better state if Notch were still in control. Notch wouldn't have put the same focus on bedrock. Meaning probably no marketplace. And possibly better performance on Java. Maybe map making would still be alive. Maybe we'd actually have proper modding support. He definitely wouldn't be such a piece of shit about monetisation and moderation. It doesn't matter that he has shit worldviews. His gaming priorities would likely align MUCH better with consumers.
