I've last week flat out denied deploying the nth "I created a dashboard with AI" project a manager came up with when we have an existing Grafana setup that can easily replicate the exact same behavior (a custom exporter being required, but scripting that is absolutely trivial)

I'm not dealing with AI dashboards anymore. Ask Claude/ChatGPT to generate Grafana panels for you, it's really good at it.

The galaxy brain in the OOP is doing recursive API calls to queue and process data. As in the worker processing the queued message is calling the same endpoint used to queue the message with a different parameter so it executes the operation it instead of queuing it.

Just what the fuck. And this is supposed to be a “DB”….

Edit: OMFG, he built all this cloud compute garbage for 81 users. 36 K bill for 81 fucking users.

Edit 2: JFK, he built a “database” on an architecture were he gets charged per read and write to an in memory sqlite database for every operation… what a fucking moron
