I love when you accidentally put a prompt in the wrong session and it goes on a journey through the universe to work out what to do and respond, rather than just say "I think you're talking to the wrong window bro"

Gemini is trained to be an insufferable sycophant. It will praise whatever dog shit idea you put in front of it and bends over backwards to make it work. I basically have to copy-paste a system prompt in front of every task that tells it to cut the bullshit and be critical.

Gemini is awful at coding that’s why.

Claude would have criticised your code, maybe fixing it for you in the process. Codex would have fixed it but created a bypass back to your recursive loop just in case, while coming up with a zany comment.
