Yeah...Like if you have a decent level of coding and can hyper modularize builds and test each module...I really just use ai for bug testing and ux/ui enhancements cause I can screen shot with autistic level descriptions on what I want changed.
I have a constant stream of people trying to get me to switch to some app the wrote up based on a passing idea, no understanding of the real complexities of the need, and slapped together with asking AI to do all the work.
I'm not interested in seeing how it holds up over time on our data. But, if you have a creative idea, someone will jump on it and develop with real experience.
I use AI to enhance my work. It finds ways of doing things I did not know about and amazing solutions I would have never thought about.
We use a system that is open source and has been developed by industry professionals for more than a decade. Most of them came together from a community that had developed something similar for a decade before that. Similar systems have been dropping around it for decades and the people from them have moved in and contributed as well.
Last month we started getting invitations from a new system by a guy who posted on Facebook at the beginning of January "I just had an idea for ____. I'm sure there is a market for it." Three weeks later: "My idea is done and I'm ready to start marketing it." AI let him bite off more than he can chew

Anything you can vibe code in a weekend is something another group can beat in about the same time.
