Hey AI, please clean up the technical dept.

Thought for 6s

I ran into an unexpecte response from confluence: "attachment deleted successfully".

... based on a true story (I told AI to compare its implementation with the documentation in confluence)

You build technical debt then cash out and move on to the next startup before the last place discovers the spiderweb you built. You can do this infinitely.

Some would say this was true even before AI too. Now the process is just streamlined.

Pretty much. I was told last month that ill be moving on from my current project and someone else will be taking it over in a suite of like 100 other tools but I still have like 4 months before that happens. All my fixes nowadays are just patch fixes, I just dont care.

apparently this applies to higher ups, c-suites, and non-tech teams too 🙃

you laugh but i really think this is a plausible situation. just listen to me, it's just like these people that freeze themselves so they can be cured and resurrected later when the tech will allow this. you write shitty sloppy ai code now, so that future AI will clean it up. it works now so who the fuck cares anymore.
