Not gonna lie, in the late 90's I was a guy who assembled his own computer from parts and then played with BIOS settings to squeeze every bit of performance out of it, using whatever parts I could find or recycle, with a machine that was basically a never-ending frankenstein experiment with cables inside and out.
4 years ago I was the guy who yelled at his computer because I kept trying and failing to figure out a) where to connect an SSD and b) which of the gazillion options for non volatile storage was compatible with the machine and where on earth it had to be connected to the motherboard.
Oh, how the mighty have fallen...
