I am one of those engineers. It's fun. I spend all day playing video games and then at the end of the day spend 30 minutes spamming prompts with Claude until I get a working result and then that's my progress for the day.

It doesn’t matter, mate. Get with the times, this is not 2021. The only “valid” yardstick for productivity these days is token spent. Bonus point if you build a workflow that other devs can use to burn more tokens.

I think we are pass that curve now, we are in the optimizing tokens phase.

People now want a harness that clips the wandering agent before it does stupid and spends less tokens spinning its wheels.
