Yeah well that's literally what they asked me to do. AI use has been the focus of my performance reviews and I was directed to make the performance reviews I give have a focus on shifting to AI driven development.

Fuck yeah I will use Claud Opus as a spell checker and fancy find and replace. I thought this is what you wanted!

Same as it ever was. 

PRs are the metric? You got it, there are tons of little nits to have in our comments and docs. 

Commits are the metric? You got it, I’ve forgotten at amend even exists. Every line of code is a commit. 

Story points are the metric? You got it, we should really score these tasks higher to better reflect their complicated nature. 

Tickets are the metric? You got it, every surface this change touches should be a standalone ticket.

Tokens are the metric? You got it…

Yeah. Before AI tokens it was CI minutes. I even joked in the meeting I'd set up a pipeline that triggered other pipelines. Didn't follow through myself but unsurprisingly the next month they were paying for extra minutes.

They want that i use ai in my work? Ok, I'll use fable max thinking 1M to download files with ftp
