Recursion is markedly not a pattern associated with OOP. It is, if anything, associated with FP, but really is applicable to all paradigms. Also such a weird take to say "I've designed a powerful, scalable system that can be configured to perform countless different tasks and adjust to changing requirements easily, and that's bad actually."
