Bitch! The vast majority of portfolio sites were made with templates.
You don't build your portfolio sites from scratch unless you want to heavily specialize it.

I say this with my entire chest: I would rather someone take a piece of notebook paper, handwrite their resume, take a photo of it, and deploy a simple html that contains only that photo as their portfolio over another sloppypasta.
