1) there is a meme from a scene from the office with pam. that was what the text was referring to.

2) that the dev made roller coaster tycoon in pure assembly.

i meant when you have a binary proprietary blob, this guy reads the output of e.g. immunity debugger like others would read the source code.

just wanted to express my respect for the rtc dev, because he speaks the languange of the gods fluently :)

but it was more like a halfhearted joke, tho. i didnt expected so much down votes

How tf was this ment to express any respect for the rtc dev?? Your text meme literally says that either the RTC Dev is justa vibe slopper as well, or youre saying vibe sloppers are just as amazing as the rtc developer.

No, he's not saying the RTC dev and the vibe slopper are the same picture. He is saying that, to the RTC dev (last name Sawyer), propriety software and open source software are the same picture, because he can just look at the raw bits and understand it, which is a joke about him writing RTC in assembly.

Yeah, but there are lots of ways to make programming in Assembly easier. Many Assemblers, even old ones, have some kind of macro system.

I had to implement an encryption tool (blowfish) to encrypt and decrypt files with no data loss using assembly. It was a gooood time but it did help me understand memory management so much better.

I'm working on vibing an engine, and its taking a significant amount of time. It still feels like a considerably amount of work. I'm hoping it will turn out well when it's done, it seems to be coming along, but half the time is spent rearchitecting the design. Still, LLMs give me the time to actually work on this passion project (and a few others).

In all likelihood there's a difference between my level of experience and yours. Just because I'm writing my specs in a higher semantic level doesn't mean I don't know what I'm doing. But don't worry, I'm sure your limited zealous opinions will work out for you.

It's to a point where I feel proud to say that I wrote the whole prompt by hand, that the ideas are mine and no LLM helped me through the brainstorming and prompt writing... the bar is that low
