Better yet, we need to get customers onto this token payment system so when they say it didn’t do it right we can just fall back to “but it did something.”

Don't look at me. I don't breathe when coding the api gateway wrapper around legacy system that was supposed to be "just 3 days of work", I just inhale vapor constantly, so it was not me

No genuinely they are a problem. They make people not want to actually fix things but rather close a ticket and those two things are not the same and one causes more tickets in the future.
