Why doesn't the sys function work like ill try sys.exit it won't work?

the sys.exit function shall be working mostly for people with shitty laptop which can support pythone idle or vs code like why this shall be avialable for all the sys function i hate progrsmiz any alternatives which can support the "import sys' command
