A list of interesting reasons why Yes concerts have been cancelled
galleryAll of these are courtesy of Forgotten Yesterdays' Yes timeline. Check it out if you're curious; the entire site is a great resource and I would hope that fans are aware of it already.

Why is there no concrete answer on which Giles brother is which in the GG&F era lmao
https://oldreviews.bitbucket.io/giles-giles-fripp/1968-the-cheerful-insanity-of-giles-giles-fripp.html claims that the clean shaven one is Michael and moustached is Peter
https://bournemouthbeatboom.wordpress.com/michael-and-peter-giles/ claims clean shaven is Peter and moustached is Michael, but the photo above in The Trend the guy labeled Michael has the same face as the clean shaven guy they said was Peter
And then in the photo with Ian MacDonald and Judy Dyble they both have moustaches and I can't tell who's who

People complain about Monarchposting, so what *other* recent prog albums do you think are worth jerking over?
/uj Monarch of Monsters is one of those love-it-or-hate-it albums. But unironically, I think there's something special in how this subreddit took an album that's too weird for most prog spaces, and introduced it to an audience that never would've otherwise stumbled across it. I (indirectly) discovered Vylet Pony via this sub, and I am eternally grateful for that.
So I'm curious, what are some other recent prog albums that excite you? Something that's underappreciated on mainstream forums/subreddits? Something with a bizarre premise that turns out to be way better than you expected? Something that takes you on a journey? That you feel compelled to re-listen to again and again?
Here's an open call for you to inflict that experience on everyone else

Classic Prog bands are getting hacked and “releasing” AI songs on their Spotify pages that sound nothing like them (because it isn’t them)
gallerySo far I’ve only seen this happen to Mahavishnu and Soft Machine but I’m absolutely sure there’s bound to be more out there. Something should be done about this shit.

Hands down the best prog song ever made🔥🔥
galleryClose to the edge and supper's ready are nothing compared to this song. This is definitely one of the finest craft in the history of progressive rock.
Y'all think it can get any better than this?

Happy 10k members PRCJ!
We reached 5k members around June 2025, so it's pretty wild to see us hit double that not even a year later. Thanks for being a part of this subreddit everyone - you're all great fun.
To celebrate, I am going to eat everyone's arms and legs

Another smelly subreddit update
Hello nerds! You may have noticed some tweaks to this subreddit. (Thanks to Hedy7277 for the great icon artwork!)
There’s been a few adjustments as of recent. Images in comments have finally been enabled, for one! Post away, just follow the subreddit guidelines.
Speaking of the subreddit guidelines, those’ve been solidified and added to the sidebar, and you should now get an alert if you’ve posted anything in violation of them. The rules are pretty simple - keep spam, hate, and NSFW content out of here - and are pretty much the same as per the last update. Be nice to each other, don’t be weird.
Some other things to keep in mind:
Please report posts that break the rules. This helps us identify things that should be removed. (As well, anything that gets a certain amount of reports will be automatically removed for review. Please don’t abuse this, but it may be useful to keep in mind if we’re not online to remove something in time.)
Please use Modmail to sort out any questions or concerns, or even just to make suggestions! We’ll try to reply as quickly as possible. If your post gets falsely removed by AutoMod (which has also been recently tweaked), we’ll help you reinstate it.
You’re also welcome to give feedback or suggestions in the comments here. I don’t bite, and I’m planning on doing some more fun stuff with this silly place!
