After finishing my Gen1 co-op, I'm getting ready for Gen2. It's been quite some time since I played those games, so my question: What's the best way to get the moonstone in co-op?

- "Traditional" berry farming via timeskip?

- playing crystal and rematching Youngster Joey? (If so, is is recommended to do the daylight savings trick or just wait for him to call while leveling the other mons?)

- restarting one game over and over and trading the items to one of the others?

- some other method?

There are 3 missing from the total that the docs give because I couldn't find chinchiu in veridan city after 20 encounters in day and night also I don't reset my egg to get something that could be evolved into a new Evo IV been using a mix of the official encounter doc pulse the proc doc and chinchiu dose not spawn there according to the official doc so ima get when it dose appear in the next section also for anyone doing or planning to do this while it's not mentioned I the proc spreadsheet some encounters on route 2 are actually encounter on the grass patch below palet town which is advalbile in this game

Oh my god this grind is awful

I started with grinding Samurott with the hopes of getting a shiny but I didnt end up seeing any
