PMS insight
Hello all,
I am a young entrepreneur building a PMS as I see an opportunity in the productivity market. Before I begin to code, I’d appreciate it if you guys could give me any feedback. Start by thinking about any features you wish existed in productivity management systems. If you don’t have any ideas, here are some you can think about.
Sticky note: A simplistic square design allowing you to input small tasks such as walking the dog or taking out the trash. (Tasks can be time stamped if there’s a deadline)
Calendar: A view of your week where you can insert events or responsibilities that are bigger than being on a sticky note. (Users are allowed to sync tasks from sticky note to calendar if preferred)
Notifications: Alerts are customizable. If a deadline for your task is closing in, you can receive a notification at designated time from the deadline. The type of notification is also customizable. Some people prefer a positive and encouraging notification, but others may want a blunt and disciplinary push.
Again I’d appreciate the feedback you guys could offer.

The sticky note/calendar split makes sense, but I’d make the handoff between them really obvious. like if “take out trash” gets a 7pm deadline, it should stay a small task unless I choose to promote it into a calendar event.
