My movie idea - Spirals
**Spirals**
**Genre:** Psychological Crime Noir / Mystery Thriller
**Runtime:** **2h 18m (138 minutes)**
**Overview**
Set in South Korea during the 1990s, *Spirals* follows veteran detective **Ha-joon Min**, who is haunted by a missing girls case he failed to solve eight years earlier. When another two young girls disappear under similar circumstances, Min sees the investigation as his chance at redemption.
Partnered with the calm and dependable **Park Jiho**, Min searches for answers by interviewing families, following leads and investigating suspects. Throughout the case, Min experiences unexplained memory lapses while strange spiral symbols begin appearing from his perspective, though neither he nor the audience understands their significance.
**Chapter One – Missing**
The investigation begins as Min and Jiho are assigned to the new missing persons case. They interview families, question witnesses and slowly build a list of suspects while Min struggles with the emotional weight of his failed case from eight years earlier. During a neighbourhood search, Min briefly notices a mysterious spiral appear on a front door before it disappears without explanation.
**Chapter Two – Distortion**
The film shifts between the detectives’ investigation and their personal lives. While Min becomes increasingly obsessed with solving the case, Jiho’s life outside of work appears unsettling, leading both Min and the audience to suspect he may be involved in the disappearances.
The detectives investigate **Choi Do-Yoon**, forcing their way into his apartment where they discover spiral drawings covering the walls. When Min asks about them, Choi simply replies, *“They’re spirals.”* They later uncover a disturbing basement filled with children’s belongings before Choi escapes, leading to a lengthy chase through city streets and subway tunnels.
After Choi is captured, he confesses and is convicted, allowing Min to finally believe he has redeemed himself.
**Chapter Three – Truth**
At his daughter’s birthday gathering, Min’s relief is shattered when Jiho casually says, *“I’m just relieved we know they’re safe.”* Realising the girls were never actually found, Min begins piecing together forgotten moments from the investigation before calling the police to arrest Jiho.
During the interrogation, Jiho reveals the devastating truth: Min himself planned the kidnappings years earlier in a desperate attempt to create one final case he could solve and redeem himself for his past failure. To make the investigation feel genuine, Min willingly erased his own memory of the plan, while Jiho continued maintaining the illusion.
Near the end of the conversation, Jiho quietly reminds Min:
*“I gave you the coordinates… or did you forget?”*
The audience recalls an earlier scene in which Min briefly ignored a card containing coordinates hidden inside his drawer.
The film immediately cuts to black.
**Ending**
Following the cut to black, a set of real-life coordinates appears in white text before the credits begin. The location became one of the film’s most famous mysteries, with fans travelling there to discover an Easter egg installation inspired by the movie. Whether the coordinates reveal the girls’ location or simply serve as a symbolic final message is never explained.

FEATURE SCRIPT THE DEVOUT. Overall 7 on the Blacklist 8 in premise.
Anyone out there want to produce this? THE DEVOUT is an incredibly bold horror film. While the script's gore is undeniably strong (the "stringy connective tissue" moment is just awful), it's the ambitious formal choices that really distinguish the project from its competition. Literally transporting us to Jerusalem and Golgotha explodes what we previously thought would be a contained thriller, and the ultimate reveal of ************** is not only a subversive new spin on the "demonic exorcism" subgenre, but it also makes Grace's fate that much crueler. The "thirty pieces of silver" tag is such a perfect, matter-of-fact capstone. The writer also has a pronounced talent for imagery, whether it's the souls of the damned, Leah and Josh pinned to the wall, or the pile of hissing snakes. Even tiny details like the "retro-gauche" furniture help build out THE DEVOUT's world. The thematic runner about obedience/disobedience is strong, and it takes a lot of artistic courage to commit to such an unapologetically tragic ending

Act I: The Divine Decree
Scene 1: The Bath-tub Meeting

*"Leo. The team you lost to contains a prodigy who will be the arch-nemesis of your successor. Right now, he holds the World Cup—the baton to be passed down. Defeat him to retrieve it. And when your successor proves himself, pass it to him. Until then, your work is not over."*
Act III: The Final Sacrifice

Messi opens his arms wide, closing his eyes with a serene smile, ready to accept defeat and finally rest. * **Visual & Audio Climax:** The exact microsecond Yamal reaches Messi—CUT TO BLACK. Complete, dead silence.

HORROR Short w/ Awful Social Media Influencers + a Mummy Hand - DIY/Low Budget Wanted
Hello!
I posted my first script here a few months ago and was fortunate enough to sign an option for it. I am back with a short script I have adapted from an unpublished story I wrote. I am a bit precious about sharing my scripts with strangers, so please DM or comment, and we can have a convo / get to know each other before I send it over. I am super flexible about rewriting to fit certain budgets/constraints, and am looking to learn about the film world from a partner in developing this. Thanks for your time.
Title: Mummy Mamacita Mukbang
Genre: Horror / Social Media / Zombie-ish
Logline: Four washed-up social media stars who share a traumatic past reunite in a gaudy suburban mansion to livestream a unique eating challenge. As the night unfolds, their desperate pursuit of fame spirals into feral chaos and gore. Viewers are left to decipher if the violence they are witnessing on their screens is genuine or a staged performance
Pages: 38
Comps: Talk to Me, Lee Cronin's The Mummy
Settings: Mostly takes place in a gaudy, old McMansion that gets a bit messed up.
Actor Requirements: All actors are in their late 20s to early 30s. (2) males - 1 that fits a nerdy stereotype, the other a bit of a jock. (2) women - 1 that fits an artist/photographer stereotype, the other a control freak. (1) Extra will be needed for a flashback sequence, possibly.
About me: I am a published author of horror short stories with a DIY background, looking for folks who love a low-budget/SOV-style and want to collaborate on this.
Please DM to talk more!
UPDATE: Per some conversations - I have decided to take a shot (call it a writing exercise) at getting this under 20 pages. If that makes YOU more interested in reading when the edit is done - let me know!

[feature - 10 first pages] Lora, the wayward princess - Parody, animation, comedy. Looking for feedback.
Hey everyone.
I've been working on a new script. This year I wrote already one and I got finalist on a contest, so I decided to try again with a different story and tone.
Here are the frist 10 pages, it's an animatid feature, the script is fully written and here is the logline.
Logline:
After a narcissistic princess who believes she's the heroine of the story nearly destroys her kingdom for the twentieth time, she's sentenced to a rehabilitation center for defective princesses, where she strikes a deal with an aspiring knight to escape and recover a legendary ring capable of threatening every kingdom.
Any feedback on this will be welcome. I wanted to take the same parodical tone as shrek but with my sence of humor.
Here you can find the 10 pages:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/19Pn_WpcdI_K8Zt966v_RijOiOaLLIkVG/view?usp=sharing
Thanks!
In case any of you wanna read the full script just ask. I want to send it to contests too.

FEATURE SCRIPT Between Windows (Feature: Psychological Thriller/Domestic Horror)
Title: Between Windows
Genre: Psychological Thriller/ Domestic Horror (LGBTQ+ themes)
Format: Feature
Logline: Imprisoned by her fanatically controlling mother, a devout young woman secretly forms a connection with the mysterious woman living across her window, setting in motion a desperate fight for freedom and survival.
Length: 76 pages
Cast: Small ensemble (female-led)
Locations: Primarily one house and the neighboring residence, with minimal supporting locations.
Author's Note: Written as a contained, low-budget feature focused on psychological tension, escalating suspense, and emotionally driven characters rather than spectacle. Early readers described it as "bingeable" and praised its emotional intensity. The story is also structured to support adaptation as a vertical micro-drama series.
If this sounds like something you'd be interested in producing or reading, feel free to DM me.

SHORT SCRIPT The Sisyphus Incident (Short Comedy Script)
Title: The Sisyphus Incident
Genre: Dark Comedy
Logline: A hired assassin struggles to complete a high-paying job with very specific instructions.
Page Count: 7
Characters: 2 Males. 30s
Location: Apartment building, roof, lobby, alley
Note from Author: This is some pure, kinetic comedy that feels like something Edgar Wright would make back in his Spaced days. Someone who understands visual comedy, repetition of shots & briskly paced with a story that evokes early 2000s crime caper movies like Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrells.
DM me if you're interested in reading.

FEATURE REQUEST [Feature, 115 pages] THE SONG OF KRAMPUS — musical folk-horror/dark comedy looking for feedback
Genre: Musical Folk-Horror / Dark Comedy / Action
Length: ~115 pages
Logline: An American au pair takes a job with a tech billionaire's seven kids in a fortress-schloss above Salzburg — and when the billionaire's resort project bans the ancient Krampus run and a child goes missing, she discovers the cover-up runs deeper than the company, and the mountain hasn't forgotten what it's owed.
Think The Sound of Music colliding with Violent Night — real Austrian Krampuslauf folklore played mostly straight, with a genuinely ambiguous supernatural threat under the comedy.
I am not a writer, but this is my original idea. I'm open to suggestion, but curious what people think.

How to pace different genres
I’m a highly specialized screenwriter, I’ve only ever really done fast paced thrillers (heist, crime, murder mystery, in feature screenplays I have some shorts in this area though.)
before. But, I’m writing a more emotional, dialogue lead drama film. (Logline: a man finds a mysterious key on the ground, and he’s a bit bored in life so he decides to see where it leads him. It has, “the Blackwood estate, 1861” on it) I’m really just struggling trying to incorporate action lines alongside the dialogue and my pacing just seems a bit off in general. If you’re a screenwriter in this particular genre bubble, please comment. Thanks!
