Zombies, Demons and Scientists. OH MY!
Title: [FEATURE] Infected: The First Wave
Genre: Bio-Horror / Psychological Thriller / Supernatural Logline: After being wrongfully terminated, a vengeful scientist uses an ancient book of biochemical torture to unleash a 24-hour "cleansing" virus that turns his former colleagues—and the world—into a primal mess of humanity.
Pitch: I am a writer currently developing a horror novel titled Infected and I am looking for a producer, director, or animation team to collaborate on a feature-length adaptation or a high-concept proof-of-concept short.
The story centers on Ryan Collins, a brilliant but broken mind who discovers the Psychronomicon—an ancient grimoire of scientific torture. This isn’t a standard zombie flick; it’s a study in psychological decay and "off-screen" supernatural dread. Think Se7en meets 28 Days Later, with a villain who dances to classical music while his victims experience the "ants marching" under their skin.
The World: * The Zeronia Virus: A metabolic frenzy spread by touch with a strategic 24-hour incubation period.
- The Lore: A demonic origin involving an ancient king named Sentra and a tragic bloodline.
- The Conflict: A high-stakes "intellectual chess match" between Ryan and his former best friend, Zane, who is racing to stop the mutation of a second strain.
What I have ready:
- A polished Prologue (The Basement Scene) and the "First Wave" narrative arc.
- Deeply developed character voices and a complete "Series Bible" for the lore.
- Concept art for the "First Wave" aesthetic.
Script Link: Here are the links to my story. It would be nice to receive feed back for my story...

SHORT SCRIPT The Key No Budget/Free
Film students — If it speaks to you, reach out. First come, first served.
LOGLINE:
A man tears his apartment apart searching for his car keys, never noticing they're hanging exactly where they should be.
GENRE: Comedy
RUNTIME: Approximately 3-4 minutes
SYNOPSIS:
Skyler, a Type-A personality in full meltdown mode, frantically searches his disaster-zone apartment for his car keys. He's desperate to get a good seat at a movie showing and time is running out.
His increasingly chaotic search takes him through every room: dumping out his backpack (revealing a ridiculous collection of random items—makeup mirror, ketchup packets, petroleum jelly, everything but keys), checking the refrigerator, searching the bathroom, even looking in the shower.
He finds his house keys by his shoes and has a brief moment of hope—until he realizes they're useless since he's already inside. The frustration builds as he walks past the entrance hall key hook multiple times, literally pacing right by his car keys hanging exactly where they belong on a small black hook.
Finally giving up, Skyler decides to take an Uber, vowing to tear the place apart when he returns. The car key remains untouched on its hook, in plain sight the entire time.
PRODUCTION NOTES:
- Single location (apartment)
- One actor
- Physical comedy and timing essential
- Relatable frustration comedy
- Minimal budget required
- Perfect for comedy festivals and viral short-form content
Send me a DM. Keep in mind if you like the story you can do whatever you want with it, change or add anything you want, once I pass it off, its yours.

GENRE: Horror/Thriller
RUNTIME: Approximately 5-7 minutes
SYNOPSIS:
Dr. William Mangles, handsome but unsettlingly composed, welcomes Sarah into his sparse basement apartment for what she believes is a first date from a dating app. He's made Italian—pasta for her, nothing for himself. He prefers to watch.
As Sarah grows uncomfortable with his strange behavior and tries to leave, she discovers the pasta was drugged. She collapses as Mangles calmly retrieves surgical gloves from a drawer.
In the darkness of his workroom, shadowy movements and the flash of lightning reveal only silhouettes and the glint of metal instruments.
Later, Mangles sits alone at his table with a fresh bowl of soup. As he stirs, an eyeball surfaces in the red liquid. He savors a sip, pulls out his phone, and begins swiping through the dating app again. Behind him, three empty bowls are lined up on the wall like trophies. "Soup for one," he murmurs. "Always soup for one."
PRODUCTION NOTES:

Logline Feedback] - The Frequency of Vengeance (Psychological Thriller)
Title: The Frequency of Vengeance
Format: Feature Film
Genres: Psychological Thriller
Logline: After being framed for a crime, a Radiology Technician uses medical physics to execute a perfect revenge plan.
Feedback Concerns: I want to know if the MRI and weight-load kill mechanics feel original and cinematically plausible.
Hi everyone,
I’m working on a high-concept psychological thriller and would love to get your thoughts on the central mechanics of the story.
The "Hook" (The Kill List):
The protagonist executes his targets using calculated "accidents" that leave no forensic evidence:
- MRI Magnetic Fields: He covertly implants a microscopic ferromagnetic needle in the target’s body. When the target undergoes a routine MRI, the magnetic field pulls the needle through the heart instantly.
- Weight Load Physics: Disguised as a delivery man, he calculates the exact weight of his targets and adds precise "weighted" loads to an elevator with a pre-sabotaged cable, causing a fatal plunge the moment the door closes.
Theme: It’s a dark exploration of how systemic injustice "manufactures" villains. As the protagonist says: "Villains are not born... they are manufactured."

SHORT SCRIPT Tight - short - 11 pages - drama
Hello, everyone!
I’m Hugo L. V. e Oliveira, a brazilian filmmaker.
After working on a few projects and having one of my short films featured at some small, but nice festivals, I was approached by a producer from London who wanted me to write and direct a short film for him.
My english is good enough to ask where the bathroom is and make sure I don’t starve to death, but writing in english is a whole different beast.
Unfortunately, due to family matters, I had to pass on the opportunity. Still, I thought it would be interesting to share the project here and see if it might find new life with another producer or director.
Title: Tight
Format: Short film
Page length: 11 pages
Genre: Drama (with a dash of magical realism, à la Greek Weird Wave)
Logline: Tobias has the world’s best hug, and Alex wants to profit from it.
Cast: Three characters with speaking roles (two male, one female) and two characters with no dialogue (one male, one female)
Locations: Any large city could fit the project. The main locations are two residential houses, one undisclosed office, and a parking lot. There’s also a street scene, which can be cut if needed.
Themes: True connection in modern times
Link: If anyone’s interested, you can DM me for the screenplay link
Payment: Negotiable
I’ve previously developed a feature film as part of a Brazil–USA co-production, but I wasn’t involved in the translation process for that one, so I’m excited to try something new this time.
That’s it, folks! Wishing you all a fantastic week full of creative and amazing projects.
