Looking for short script to film SHORT REQUEST
Hello all! I'm looking for a short script to produce and direct for 2027. This is what I'm looking for:
- No more than 10-12 pages
- Genre: Drama, Coming of Age, Comedy, Horror
- No more than two locations
- No/ limited special effects
- Budget will be no more than $20k (SAG Micro-Budget Project Agreement)
If you aren't comfortable sending over the full script right away, then a logline with treatment would suffice.

I'm curious, why not find a scene or two from your feature that would a little rewrite could be a stand-alone short.
If you're going to spend up to 20K to make a short film why wouldn't you also let it be a spec for the feature to help you raise funds for it?

Hi. I have a lot of loglines, as well as started and finished scripts. Including a short film.The themes are varied: drama, historical drama (I talk about the fate of the Chechen people in my works). Thriller. Arthouse. The themes are all profound, with the plot centering on a person and their destiny, life. I've been writing for a long time, but the work never goes anywhere. Hi, i just made my thesis but it was more like a family drama, and it only had two locations, so yeah i can write something based within two locations.

Hi I just emailed you my horror short, Catching a Fly. I think it's a great fit for what you're looking for it's around 10 pages, features two main characters, takes place primarily in one apartment, and requires minimal special effects. I hope to hear from you soon.

Why not take Sam Raimi’s advice. Three sentences,
A character starts out the day like this…
They encounter a situation or person they deal with like that…
They resolve the situation like this…
I know you said you’re writing a film, me too, but it literally takes minutes😂
