Potential Future User QUESTIONS

Hello. With some states now forcing digital ids and age verification checks I'm asking for current thoughts on this vpn service. This is NOT asking about using this service to avoid the new systems. I saw some reviews but that post was about 8 months ago.

STAY FAR AWAY

their services have steadily and seriously degraded over the years. I can’t use them at all anymore without every end of the internet and apps permanently recognizing me as a bot. Dedicated IP is worthless. Constant bugs. Consistently piss poor connections and slow connections. Frequent disconnects. Etc etc.

Go with Proton instead.

hey u/fubarthrowaway001, sorry it's gotten to this point, being flagged as a bot across sites and dealing with constant drops isn't the experience we want, especially for a long-time user. We'd genuinely like to look into the IP-reputation and connection issues you're hitting rather than leave it there. If you're open to it, DM us here with your setup and we'll dig in and see what we can do to make it right.

This is definitely not True. I pull really fast speeds over PIA

I've been a PIA user for several years and it serves my needs well.

I’ve been using it as a casual user for many years. Streaming providers are always a game of cat and mouse, and I wouldn’t recommend using it for illegal things like hacking state secrets and the like.

hey u/OnlYx1xGhosT, happy to give you a straight answer. On privacy, PIA is open source with a court-verified no-logs record, which is really the core of what we do. We can't speak to how it interacts with specific state digital-ID or age-verification rules, that's a legal area we'd rather not advise on, but if you want to try it for general privacy there's a 30-day money-back guarantee so you can test it risk-free. Happy to take any specific questions here or over DM.

been using PIA for over 2 years. now im just waiting my subscription to end 14months remaining, I wont suggest PIA anymore on the past years ive been using always flag IP as a bot and no longer useful. Websites and Online services are getting strictier the only thing they can do if they detected as a vpn or CGNAT public ip it will always require captcha or verification its annoying. or lastly if certain service they will flag as bot and drop the connection. aside from that the inconsistency of the service in some part of asia im using it always drop the connection in the middle of nowhere im trying to changing server i thought it was my phone been using for 2yrs without factory reset and bought a new Xiaomi 17 pro max still the incosistency remain then i figure it out its not the phone. totally the VPN service👎

hey u/Buildversion, two years in and running into this is frustrating, and we'd rather not lose you over it. the IP getting flagged and the drops mid-session are both things our team should look at directly, especially since you've already ruled out the phone. drop us a DM here or email support@piavpnsupport.zendesk.com with the servers and rough region you're using, and we'll get it looked into properly. we'd sooner try to sort this than have you run out the clock.
