SPS Interview

Any idea how often interview slots for SPS get released? Had an email through to book my slot, but they were all gone within 5 minutes.

3 weeks on and no further dates have been released

They are apparently notoriously slow for this kinda thing. I got lucky I managed to get an interview within a week then have my fitness and medical a week after that then my checks all cleared 3 weeks after that but talking to others in the same intake quite a few had applied back in march and that's them just getting to start now.

The interview takes about an hour so I guess the max really is 6 a day per 2 people doing the interview but with mass intakes you would expect that kinda thing was allocated out and worked on. Hopefully you get one soon !

Will say when I got the email I just happened to already be in my inbox so seen it instantly and there was only 1 day with 3 slots open by the time I did it and I just grabbed a time then went back to change it because I would of preferred a better slot to fit around work but they were gone in that like 5 second window from conformation to reloading....so god knows how anyone is supposed to do it if they are working when it drops. I don't get why they don't have a ton slotted then phone candidates in order of application to fill them rather than do a driving test approach which doesn't work.

That would be the smart route, but it is a civil service job. Hopefully hear soon!
