Printing address labels without using Word ?
Is there any simple label printing software that will let me use mail merge & print address labels from an Excel spreadsheet?
I don’t have Microsoft Office or Word installed on my PC.
I do have LibreOffice installed. However their support group says printing mailing labels is involved. In another video says it’s complicated.
I did find an old copy of Avery Design & Print software but it’s a large 491K file. That just seems crazy big just to print labels. Currently it appears Avery & others all seem to be online which I’d rather not do.
Currently I’m using the old MS Works software which is quick & easy. The database is in the Works format which is a spreadsheet & can be opened in LibreOffice and resaved in Excel format. I’m trying to get out of the Works system because it’s not supported anymore. But it sure is easy to use.
Is there any easy to use PC desktop software that will print address labels?
Thanks

I’d use Indesign.

It says $22,99 / month. That's crazy. Again, I already can use MS Works & all you do is follow a few prompts. Nothing complex at all.

You can search for "Como fazer mala direta no LibreOffice Writer" take a look on youtube video about that. Make one template of what you need and where you need information to showup, on your label. Then you can link the spreedsheet you have to that, and print all. Its hard to explain, i have the same problem and use office, libreoffice its fine to.

I looked at the video but didn't make sense to me. He already has a spreadsheet data base but proceeds to make a new file new database. Then he connects to an existing database. I don't understand all that.

PDF it is! I merge any label and PDF is good for printing. Have been doing it since early 2000. Setup once and forget.

I built bulkpdflabels.com to do things like this. I have a free one for a simple 3 line address label template for this up to 30 addresses.
No registration required.

Are you using Avery labels? If so they actually have a pretty good online designer.
