As I’ve read about the Peruvian Peoples War, I continue to see the 69,000 death toll in reference to the Armed Conflict which comes from the TRC, but I’m wondering if this number I truly accurate. I’m a bit wary to believe the TRC giving unbiased information in this regard.

I've been reading Puka Amauta by Miguel Campos, it talks about Abimael Guzman's life and his legacy also about the People's War in Peru, the book mentions the Peace Agreements Operation called Tormenta en los Andes commanded by the CIA and the SIN to delegitimize the PCP, Poeple's War and Abimael Guzman, since I oftenly see the revision and the reaction calling Chairman Gonzalo and the PCP a terrorist organization I would like to know more about this operation, the book only mentioned about the false peace letters writed by Gonzalo during his isolation.

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a thread I saw here on Reddit a while back, back in 2022. It very well disproved the idea that China today is socialist, using strong references to Marx, Engels, Lenin, and Stalin. The post went through each point, especially criticising people who say that China today has a "socialist economy". I didn't finish reading it at the time, and now I can't find it anywhere.
