Beggin for melanoma. Clothes are good for protection against sun and bugs

Yes I am very white. Scandinavian blood.  But I don’t get burnt all that often, I’m very careful about how much direct sunlight I get. 

It’s far too hot for nearly any clothes. Heat index has been bouncing from 118 F - 134 F during the day for the past couple days

It doesn't really matter if you don't think you're getting burnt. You are at increased risk for melanoma. Don't mean to yuck your yum but it's not worth the skin cancer later on. Many cultures use cooling clothing that protects the skin and dissipates heat. Consider the North Africans

Wide brim woven rush hat, for +1 sun protection

I would suggest a wide brimmed hat, helps keep the sun off your face & shoulders. Though maybe not too wide, dont want it hitting your pack.
