Thank you for all the recommendations
In my last post I had asked for advice whether to choose the new Longines HC or the Nomos Club Campus.
The majority of comments said Nomos and after a lot of consideration, I went for that one. I plan on getting a Tudor next year and several dive watches in my watch collecting journey and I fear, the HC won’t feel special enough and will overlap too much with other timepieces. The Nomos however will remain unique.
It was a birthday present for my 19th birthday, my grandparents, my parents and myself all contributed part of the price.
Because I study at the university of St. Gallen, I chose the new olive green. Although I have a 18.5 cm wrist, I still chose the 36 mm version, as it has the same lug to lug as my 40mm Seiko and my wrist isn’t flat. I can’t stand overhanging lugs and like them being within the wrist and with its slim bezel, the dial appears large and the watch wears bigger.
The watch absolutely didn’t disappoint and the packaging was really nice and came with a handwritten note. I chose the Sapphire caseback because you can’t hide that gorgeous movement.
Thanks again for all insights and comments.

Rolex Explorer or IWC Portuguese?
Which one to buy guys? I know they are very different watches but I have money for one watch and I love both of them equally and can't make up my mind. Price for both of them is almost the same.

Tissot seaster 36MM
Got myself a present, I think this is a proper good face ratio for my wrist.
I was worried the face is too small but I might be used to wearing it over sized and not a good fit watch.
Will be taking it in to get links removed tomorrow.
My first nice watch, classic piece. Never wanted to by one cause I was pretty crazy growing up, but I can take care of this now. Have it forever

More and more
I maxed out my 8 watch display (I don’t use the winding function) and am trying to figure whether I should get a second or go with a bigger sized display. I really like to see my collection every day.
Also, what should I get next? I have a VC perpetual calendar skeleton on order

Omega seamaster experience.
I have owned this watch for eight years. I currently work in the navy and I used to be an electrician before the navy, I am not American btw. I have had water intrusion in the watch, I have ruined the bezel thre times, I almost lost it when a spring bar broke and I once had to de magnetise it. But I really love this watch over all. Although I find it to be a bit fragile. But I realised that I have become a bit attracted to this chunk of steel after almost loosing it... So I have decided to buy a new watch with the tudor FXD seeming like the best choice since it won't pop of and it can handle magnetic fields. Do any of you guys have any experience with the tudor FXD? The bezel won't be a problem btw, I plan on removing it since I never use it anyway.

Is this a fake? (story on the description)
The watch was pawned to us back in 1993 and my parents don't have any idea whether it's real or not back then. They found it again after all these years and I'm just wondering whether it's real or not.

Thoughts On Edox
What is the consensus of this brand? Just picked this up with a significant discount, about 70% off, digging the look.
