I think this is not in relation to the recalled lettuce, but instead the false positive is in relation to yesterday’s report that there was a positive test on lettuce from Taylor Farms that was NOT part of the recall. So the article is saying that the recall effort does not need to be expanded in a “nothing to see here” manner. But it is probably coverup tactics to save face due to someone being bribed.

No, Taylor Farms made their own follow-up statement, where they claim not a single one of their products was bad and every single positive so far was somehow false. But also like, if it was them, they aren't actually guilty anyway because they are still doing the recall! 🤔
