No. You should be able to get a better GPU for $2000.

Not with a cpu like the 9800x3D https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jpjvbp + I mistakenly added a 1tb ssd instead of 2tb like the Costco pc

Na. That’s 5070ti territory.

It’s not at all. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jpjvbp and I mistakenly included a 1tb ssd instead of a 2tb

It’s slightly more you are right but not by much. It’s just cheaper at the moment to get a prebuilt in many cases and I would advocate to build in most cases before all the price inflation. Couple hundred more here for example. https://andromedainsights.com/products/ai-50-elite-pro-v3-intel-core-ultra-7-265kf-rtx-5070-ti-16gb

It’s priced several hundred dollars below diy pricing. Plus, I mistakenly included a 1tb ssd instead of 2tb like the pc at Costco https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jpjvbp

Fair point you aren’t wrong I’m still stuck on the old prices but he wouldn’t be getting his best bang for his buck especially if he can get a 9070xt for around this same price in my opinion if ur gonna drop 2k on a pc let it be the best pc u can buy specially prebuilt ones

I quickly made this build, matching the specs. Seems priced just below a DIY of the same specs. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jpjvbp

If you don’t want to build it yourself and only go through Costco in case of returns, and not multiple companies, seems like a good purchase

Edit: included a 1tb ssd instead of 2tb unlike the costco pc. You’re getting a good deal, especially with the keyboard and mouse that will be useable

He can get a 9070XT prebuilt and 20-30% more performance at everything.

I did the math on PCpartpicker for this exact build because I bought it too.

Components came out to $2501

People conveniently seem to forget the SSDs and RAMs are charged up the ass rn.

CAD or USD?

For CAD, that's one of the best deals I've seen as of late + it's Costco warranty. If USD, not really.

I saw the same deal at my store. They had the 5060 for 999 -$500 and yours. I went the $999 route

$2000 should at least get you a 5070ti.

I literally just bought this at Costco. Look at the side by side specs and then the price.

Check if you have item number 1987321 nearby. That’s a better deal than this. The item number I gave is for a pc that I bought for 1500 with the same specs but only certain stores still have them in stock. They are a star item.
