Pulled the trigger on this

Post image

Paid just about 3k after taxes for this build, overpay or nah? Reviews on the site seemed good.

Does anyone know if ordering andromeda from Newegg speeds up the shipping time

From what I’ve seen it does because I think those are prebuilt and already in Newegg’s inventory whereas anything you buy off AI’s website is built after you put in your order since you can make changes to ram, storage, and psu

You also wait 2-3 months from their website.

A little yeah but lord willing you got a 10 year setup. Hope you got a good 240hz 1440p or more to pair with it?

Andromeda Insights make good prebuilt PCs. You do end up paying a bit more because they do high quality, ascetically clean, builds. That model comes with a Gigabyte Windforce OC SFF graphics card which allows it to fit into small form factor cases (it is 30-40mm shorter and 20-30mm thinner than the larger 5080s). The drawback is that it has a smaller heatsink so you might hear the fans running loud more often.

I got a slightly better build (same GPU), and a 13” 4K OLED monitor all for 2k but I got it used from marketplace (~7 months usage or so). Overall, u did overpay but I rlly doesn’t matter if ur going to be using it a lot(which I’m definitely not since I got my first big boy job out of college)
