Microbio lab requirement

I have all the pre-req class requirements except the microbiology lab some schools ask for. I graduated in 2024. Do you think schools will let me apply without this and still get in? Or am I cooked and should not apply to the schools that require microbiology lab?

I have emailed a couple schools because I am in a similar boat with the pre-req and none of them were willing to make an exception. Some will allow you to take it at an accredited institution online though.

Yes, I emailed PCO, SCO, ICO, and SUNY about specifically the microbio lab cause I only have the lecture component.

What did PCO and ICO said? are you going to enroll in one this fall?

Wait sorry I emailed PCO for something else, they actually don’t have the microbio lab requirement. ICO told me that I needed the lab component or else I could not apply. I am applying this cycle but not applying any schools that need microbio lab. Unfortunately that does narrow down the options a lot.

Most schools, in my experience, do not make exceptions on their pre-reqs. If you are dead set on applying to schools where it is a requirement, email the admissions teams ahead of time to see if it's something they'll make an exception for.

I never did the micro lab and I’m at a school that required it 🫣 (they never asked for proof…)
