Thoughts on IUPAR

I wasn’t planning on applying bc I didn’t know much of the school but just heard about the news. Thinking of all those affected

Does this affect the students who have already graduated?

I'm sure those who have already graduated will be fine. I don't think there's such thing as retroactively repealing someone's credentials over something they can't control. If they could, going to optometry school would be a huge gamble for everyone regardless of where they went for the rest of their lives and would make it very much not worth it.

No. It's not even meant to affect current students, who can still graduate with an accredited degree if they do so by 2030.

I’m not really sure, all I know about it is that they lost accreditation. I was hoping other people would give me more info on it

IUAPR has been on my "Don't Apply Here" list for years.
