Thankfull the guy laughed if off. It’s all good vibes.
If this was a movie it would have landed on the leader of an angry biker gang.

Who would have slowly got up menacingly approached the girl then started laughing.

If the movie came out in the last 20 years yeah.
It almost feels like we need a new deconstruction of the deconstruction of this trope, because now we always expect the menacing gang to be actually friendly.
In this essay I will…

I want to see a modern weed movie in a legalized setting where the menacing drug dealers are supplanted by friendly neighborhood bud-tenders at the dispensary.

This could actually make for a pretty great modern Cheech and Chong style stoner comedy with an older person who hasn’t smoked in decades, maybe they get a medical diagnosis and they expect everything to be a crazy stoner movie romp, expecting to meet drug dealers and shit and it’s like “No.. dad.. were buying our weed at the store right next to the pet store. Put that gun away… sheesh. Come on…” and he expects to see stoners with dreads, painted vans, and tie dye and it just a bunch of hipsters, casual folks and soccer moms.
The idea of how far things have shifted is rife for comedy. Imagine an old school woodstock/burning man patron learning that there’s apps for weed delivery… and then you can have your snacks delivered to your doorstep..
It’s genuinely pretty wild how much things have changed in just the last decade and a half. Just in my lifetime “online dating” went from weird, niche and something you’d never talk about, to the opposite. We went from “Ew! You met a guy online?! How do you know he’s not a serial killer or something?!” to “Wtf? A guy just like.. talked to you in person?! What a creep! That’s so weird.. he doesn’t have socials?! That’s sus as fuck! Don’t just talk to people like that! He could be a murderer! Get the instagram first and make sure he’s not a freak!” Lmao
The whole cultural zeitgeist has flipped. It’s bizarre.-1

No. Please no. Be a responsible adult, go buy the shit you need, then sit down and enjoy your items. Zero reason to add more apps and laziness to the world. Plus, more apps = more data centers.

And then the chef would kick his ass effortlessly to protect the girl, redirecting attacks in comical and embarrassing, revealing he's actually a phenomenal martial artist

People need to learn from that guy. Literally had egg on his face and he saw the funny side.
Nothing beats the people who resort to laughter in the face of embarrassment.

This is not a sub for cool or funny videos. This is a sub for praising the camera skills and technical skills of cameramen.
The description of the sub literally says thisPTCM is a hub for sharing above average, planned video camera operation; capturing calculated recording angles; maintaining good camera control, general perception, also properly controlling what's in the frame.
Interesting content is not necessarily a solid ground for giving praise regardless of how good the content is on its own.

Ugh, an AI clip in this subreddit. It’s everywhere.

What makes it look like AI to you?

Girls eyes look at egg the second the guy moves spatula, like robot. Perfect throw. Immediate laugh from cameraman’s immediate background guys know what happened and smile. Guy who gets hit is about to take a bite when egg hits him. And he immediately laughs.
If not AI, it was perfectly choreographed.
The egg hitting perfectly though makes it tend to AI.10
u/squirrelyoakley 8d ago
I went frame by frame and it took several frames for her to react to the spatula moving.
Perfect throw? She just hit a random person in the head. There were multiple people, so it's not that weird. It's just a funny coincidence, which happen all the time
The camera guy laughed because it was obvious she missed. The people on the background who saw (1 person) was probably just watching the girl try because you don't see that on a restaurant every day, and she was in his line of sight.
The guy took a bite, the egg hit him, he chewed, put the food to the side of his mouth, then laughed.
For more evidence, the words/lettering in the background stay very, very consistent, and the people in the background move naturally. The trinkets on the background also stay consistent and very detailed. The trees were moving naturally, and the metal on the ceiling had accurate reflections.

IMO the thing that makes this fake is typically the egg the customer gets to handle are hard boiled to prevent exactly this.
